Via Pontica Foundation organises an international knowledge exchange meeting under the MoreAdaptBSB project
On 2 April 2026 the Via Pontica Foundation will host an international knowledge exchange meeting in Burgas (Hotel Bulgaria), organised under the project MoreAdaptBSB – “Less vulnerability, more adaptability – pilot remote sensing assisted restoration of green spaces in coastal and urban areas within the Black Sea region”.
The meeting brings together representatives of local and regional authorities, state institutions, research organisations, universities and experts working on sustainable development, natural resource management and climate change adaptation.
The meeting will present the project’s main results, including a decision-support model for planning climate adaptation measures, built on nature-based solutions and an integrated approach to managing the territory.
A discussion will follow on how applicable the model is in practice and how it can be integrated into strategic planning and management at local and regional level.
The working languages of the event are Bulgarian and English, with simultaneous interpretation provided.
